STEM PROJECTS
Projects may be chosen in any field of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or invention. Propose a project of your own or get a few of your friends together and brainstorm some ideas.

ELIGIBILITY RULES
Attending public or private high school or middle school
Under-represented student (UR) in the fields of STEM is defined as follows:
Girls of any ethnicity
African American, Hispanic or Native American boys
Students who are not under-represented (UR) are also encouraged to apply
2 students: at least 1 UR
3 students: at least 2 UR
4 students: at least 2 UR
5 students: at least 3 UR
Max of 5 students per project
No limit on number of projects submitted by one school
SUBMITTING PROPOSALS
Each project proposal requires submission of a YSAP Project Proposal Application.

We fund student projects that will be done in the current school year only.
​
Funding is limited to $500 per project. Funds may be used for:
Materials, supplies and equipment.
Travel expenses to local/regional science fair competitions.
Materials to build the display board for the science research student symposium at A&T&T.
